The Southern Vermont (1906) Bridge was the first bridge obtained by the Adaptive Use Bridge Project. The bridge was a donation from the Vermont Transportation Agency in 1996. This bridge has been successfully reconstructed and is now used near the UMass football stadium to span a small stream.
