Southern Vermont (1906) Bridge Load Test 1 Computer Simulation

The loading applied to these models is based on the actual loading used during load test 1.
A Chevy 1500 Silverado Extended Cab truck was used. The weight, wheel base and weight distribution for this truck were obtained from the chevy website.
Several different sets modeling assumptions were used, including:

- Pin-pin external boundary conditions; Pinned (truss) internal connections.
- Pin-pin external boundary conditions; Fixed (frame) internal connections.
- Pin-pin external boundary conditions; Gusset plate internal connections*.
- Pin-roller external boundary conditions; Pinned (truss) internal connections.
- Pin-roller external boundary conditions; Fixed (frame) internal connections.
- Pin-roller external boundary conditions; Gusset plate internal connections*.
