Tim received his BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. In the summer of 2007, he participated in the UMass Institute for Cellular Engineering REU program. He joined Professor Henson's group in the fall of 2008 and is currently working on metabolic engineering and modeling of microbial consortia for biofuel production..

Yihui Yang

Yihui received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Dalian University of Technology. He joined Professor Henson's group in 2009 and is presently working on Emulsion Crystallization Processes for Manufacturing Solid Lipid Nanoparticles.

Shashank Maindarkar

Shashank received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. He joined Professor Henson's group in 2009 and is presently working on Prediction of Emulsion Drop Size Distributions with Population Balance Equation Models to Enable Emulsified Product Design.

Aditya Gopi Dodda

Aditya received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. He joined Professor Henson's group in 2010 and is presently working on Filtering and Drying Processes in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Lisa Leone

Second year PhD

Lisa received her bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University. She joined Professor Henson's group in 2010 and is co-advised by Professor Susan Roberts . She is currently working on the creation of a metabolic model for Taxus cuspidata to facilitate ongoing metabolic engineering efforts of this important medicinal plant in the Roberts lab. Link

Jin Chen

Jin received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. Then, she received her master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. She joined Professor Henson's group in 2011 and is presently working on Microbial Technologies for Synthesis Gas Fermentation.
