Curriculum Vitae

Mike is fascinated by complex systems problems, especially the development of computational models that allow for improved system understanding and optimization. Most problems are drawn from the domain of biology with particular emphasis on multispecies microbial systems and multicellular neural networks. He enjoys working with experimentalists from the sciences as well as industrial practitioners who bring the necessary domain expertise to develop mechanistic and predictive models. He also hopes to excite undergraduate students about systems modeling and analysis.
