Determination of Impacts of Free Chlorine-based Chemical Addition Strategies on the Formation of Disinfection Byproducts
UMass Research Team: Dave Reckhow, Chen Wu, Brendan Avery, Patrick Wittbold
The overall objective is to (1) evaluate the impact of hypochlorite-based biofilm & cleaning strategies on DBP formation and effects on DBP compliance, (2) to evaluate the persistance of hypochlorite, chloramines and chlorine dioxide in the Catskill Aqueduct.
