Project Phases Project Phase III

Phase III involved regression analysis and some mechanistic modeling. Focusing on the local level utility drainage basin, the regression analysis described the relationships between land use, anthropogenic activity and TOC. The mechanistic model served as an additional tool to describe the fate and transport of TOC within a water supply catchment. The modeling effort provided insight to the trends observed in phase I and phase II. This information can be used to Provide general guidance and best management practices for utilities interested in TOC and NOM control.
