The RAMC satisfies the following system specifications:
The system must be able to determine the location of a mouse inside the mouse cage within 0.5 cm of its “real” location.
The system must be able to measure food and water consumption of the mouse to within 1 mg of the real value.
The system must be able to detect eating and drinking events with 100% accuracy.
The system must work at night and during the mouse’s sleeping period.
Provide a live video feed from the mouse cage.
