Lab

The lab assignment is designed to follow up on the experience gained in ENGIN 112. The main goal is to show that digital logic circuits can be combined with state-of-the-art embedded computing platforms to create embedded systems that contain custom logic components. The labs are based on an Intel DE2i-150 development kit featuring an Intel Atom processor, which is a widely used embedded processor that can run a regular operating system, and an Altera FPGA.

Lab kits are available for sign-out outside Prof. Wolf's office (Knowles 211C). The lab is due by the last class (4/30/14).
