We Have an Idea
After a couple of meetings, the team decides to deliver intelligent LEDs that create a light-show from digitally processed music.
BeagleBone Runs
Decisions were made, money was spent, and the BeagleBone Black is our processor. It is connected to the UMass Wireless network, and is up-to-date with current drivers.
BLE LEDs Work
Alden jumps on the BLE custom chip early, and the LEDs are now controllable with Bluetooth devices
Shareplay is Set Up
The BeagleBone is now a Shareplay Receiver.
Server is Up
The BeagleBone is connected to a modem, and the LEDs can be controlled through an HTML POST.
Beats Detected
A Tempo detecting algorithm now finds beats on all your favorite WAV files.
Colors Controled from the Web
A webpage is up on the BeagleBone. Connect, click, and the colors change.

Arseny Izotov is an electrical engineering senior. As team manager, Arseny keeps the team on top of deadlines and responsibilities. Combining his interest in music with his passion for digital signal processing, he is responsible for delivering the song analysis solutions, and light-show patterns.
Justin Lad is an electrical engineering senior hailing from Bangor, Maine. His major contributions to the inteLED's vision involve coordinating the independent software subsystems into a unified software package, and implementing real time recording and playback.
Sade Luwoye is an electrical engineering senior. Her major contributions include creating the front-end website interface, and shareplay integration.
Alden Michaels is an Computer Systems Engineering senior. His major contributions include printing custom BLE chips, and writing their drivers; setting up the BBB; setting up the server; and creating custom current regulators for LED heat maintenance.
