Hi! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the College of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.  I lead the Sustainable Computing Lab, which conducts experimental computer systems research in the areas of cloud computing, Internet-of-Things (IoT), and cyber-physical systems with a particular emphasis on applications to sustainability. See some of my recent publications for more details about my background and expertise.

Prospective Students

I am recruiting Ph.D. students to work with me on research projects in the areas of cloud computing, Internet-of-Things (IoT), and cyber-physical systems (with particular applications to sustainability).  I encourage interested  prospective students to apply to the UMass Amherst ECE Ph.D. program.  The details on the Ph.D. program requirements are here, and application information is here and here.  If you are highly motivated, creative, and interested in my area of research please email me your resume and let me know which of my projects/papers interests you and why.
