About

Problem Statement

Boxing, a sport that has existed since Antiquity, celebrated by cultures across the globe for thousands of years. However, there is a problem. Training for Boxing has not modernized and is not technologically integrated. 

Goal

To give the user a safe, immersive boxing experience with robust evaluation. This will be done through an apparatus that will allow users to engage in a more realistic form of boxing that is affordable and health oriented.

Qualitative Quantitative 
Counterpunch Subsystem will not hurt the user System should be able to measure force applied within 5%. 
System should be accessible from a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device. System should accurately measure reaction time within 50 milliseconds. 
Provide visual cues to indicate when and where to strike. System should not move more than 5 cm during a 3 minute session. 
System should give evalutation of user performance at the end of use.  The counterpunch should not impart more than 30 Newtons. 
System should be able to give audio feedback for user interaction.
