HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEMS

Heat Recovery Ventilator (HRV) Test Facility:

A test facility for graduate research and development on the performance evaluation of compact air to air heat exchanger was designed and is currently under re-construction. The design work was supported by an ASHRAE sponsored Graduate Fellowship, a University of Massachusetts research initiation grant, and a Sigma Xi Graduate Research Grant. It can measure the thermal performance of HRV units and similar building energy equipment.
