Education:

  • B.S.E., Engineering Physics, Princeton University, 1987
  • M.S., Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University, 1989
  • Ph.D., Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University, 1994

Research Interests:

Turbulence Modeling: using numerically generated data and resulting physical insights to construct engineering models (partial differential equation systems) which are able to predict the effects of turbulence on the mean flow motion. Numerical Methods: the development of numerical techniques capable of accurately and efficiently solving the Navier-Stokes equations.
