ENGIN 196B is a one-credit comprehensive course offered to incoming minority freshmen engineering students to assist them in making a smooth and informed transition to college from high school.

Academic Advising


MEP advisers provide guidance on course selection. They inform students of requirements for their major, the College of Engineering, and the University. Students are referred to faculty and other offices in the College of Engineering who are all prepared to assist in their academic pursuits.



Tutoring Program


MEP provides free academic assistance through tutors who help students understand engineering concepts.
