Call for Papers and Posters:

A limited number of oral presentations will be selected by the organizing committee from the submitted abstracts. Please note that if you are selected to give an oral presentation you will be asked to give a 30-45 minute lecture and lead a discussion on your topic. Poster sessions will be held each evening of the conference. We are currently working with IWA publishing to select an appropriate publication route for this event. 

Submission of abstracts: January 11, 2008
Notification of acceptance: February 18, 2008
Submission of full papers: April 7, 2008

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

• Submit electronically (MS WORD) to membrane@ecs.umass.edu by January 11th, 2008
• Include contact information and preferred theme area in text of email message.
• Two page maximum. Single space with two spaces between paragraphs, 12 point Times font.
• Include title, authors with affiliation (Dept., Institution), corresponding author and contact information.
• Indicate whether you would like to be considered for a "poster only" or "either poster or oral presentation."
• Indicate if you are a student and would like to be considered for the student paper/poster competition.
• List preferred theme area (and second choice if applicable) from one of the following:

               1. Advances in membrane materials and modeling

               2. Wastewater treatment and reuse

               3. Drinking water treatment

               4. Gas transfer applications

               5. Desalination

               6. Fouling mechanisms and control
