Calendar

December 1, 2009 — Online Application Process Opens

February 5, 2010 — Deadline to Submit Scholarship Application

Please note: the scholarship application process will only be done once a year. Therefore, it is very important that you complete your application by February 5, 2010 to be eligible for any scholarships for Fall (2010) and Spring (2011) semesters.

What Happens After You Apply

  • Applications are reviewed – matched to criteria from donor.
  • May be asked to interview for scholarships tied to internships.
  • Scholarship committee, with representatives for each department, meets in early March to select recipients.
  • Notification emails are sent in early May.
  • If asked, you are required to complete a thank you letter for your scholarship donor and submit electronically to the Office of Development.  Scholarships will be revoked if thank you letters are not received in a timely fashion.
  • Credit will be applied to your university bill (half fall semester and half spring semester) and will appear as an engineering scholarship.
  • Scholarships may be affected if you plan to graduate at the end of the fall semester, decide to change your curriculum, or chose to work a co-op.
  • If other scholarships become available though the Scholarship Committee during the 2010/11 academic year, you will be considered and notified if you are selected.
