My research is on unregulated disinfection by-products in drinking water. We are currently working with the city of Philadelphia, PA. We are looking into quantifying total organic halides, specifically total organic iodine, bromine and chlorine, at very low levels in drinking water by developing methods specifically tailored for that type of analysis.
