In today's busy world parents are concerned with baby safety and health.
So we introduce BabyGuard for around the clock baby safety monitoring.
We use wearable devices to collect data from baby and sending info to both computer and phone, so that parents can track and monitor baby's condition 24*7
The solution provides monitoring and baby body temperature information/function, it also triggers alarms when distance or body temperature is beyond pre-set value.
The whole System consists of 3 main components: a small wearable device, a home server and an Android mobile app.
Small and compact device connects to mobile phone or home server via Bluetooth (BT).
Wrist or ankle wearable, includes embedded temperature sensors which sends temperature data, and motion sensors which sends activity data to mobile device or home server periodically.
AES encryption for data transmission, which protects a user's privacy.
Wearable device connects to the server if not connected to a mobile phone and sends the baby's temperature and activity data periodically.
Enabled post data analysis and data sharing functions.
App connects to a wearable device via Bluetooth to gather temperature, acceleration and gyration data.
App logs temperature data and sounds alarm if baby's body temperature exceeds a user-defined threshold.
App sounds alarm when the connection between the smartphone and wearable device is lost.
The documents below track our progress throughout the year as we hit PDR (Preliminary Design Review), MDR (Mid-year Design Review), CDR (Cumulative Design Review), and FPR (Final Project Review) and Demo Day.
Thank you for your curiosity, we will provide more details soon.
