Course Overview

This courses is a seminar for Teaching Associates in the College of Engineering who are teaching the 191ENGIN Freshman Seminar. The course serves as a learning community to support instructors and to discuss techniques to improve student learning.

Course Details

The course meets on Wednesdays 10:10 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in Marston 220. Instructor for the course is Prof. Tilman Wolf. The required textbook for this course is Barbara Gross Davis, Tools for Teaching, 2nd ed., Jossey-Bass, 2009. Grading is pass/fail based on attendance; attendance of (and participation in) eight (8) course meetings is required to pass this course.
