Homework

20% of the grade for the course is based on your performance on the 5 homework assignments. Homework is to be done on your own to drive home the concepts presented in lecture and also prepare on-campus students for the lab. It is intended to encourage you to attend the lectures. Homework will include problems related to lectures by the instructor and by the industrial guests. NO COLLABORATION ON HOMEWORKS!

Quizzes

Five of the module lectures will have short quizzes at the end to motivate quick absorption, assimilation and evaluation of the lecture material. Quizzes will be open-book and open-notes. Only 10% of the overall grade for the course will be based on the quizzes. (Just 2% for each of the 5 quizzes).
