* Briefly describe the message passing and shared memory programming
  models. Contrast these models using at least four aspects in which
  they differ. 

* Consider the types of parallelism discussed in class.  Compare and
  contrast instruction-level vs. thread-level parallelism.  How would a
  parallel computer benefit from these technologies? 

* Give examples of two types of data parallel architectures that were
  described in class and in the Culler text. How are they the same? How do
  they differ?
