SMART HYDROPONIC GREENHOUSE

Problem Statement

Our project is a fully automated hydroponic greenhouse designed to fit within ones home. The design makes use of various sensors to control lighting, watering and fertilization. It it targeted towards people who don't have the time, space or ability to grow or obtain local produce, particularly in urban environments and food deserts. By growing within ones home, the cost and carbon footprint of shipping can be reduced along with pesticide use.
