Back Again! Hope everybody had a good Thanksgiving! We were certainly busy over the break working on SDP. We had a fun filled Friday at MITRE doing some some testing with their equipment there. Thanks Mr. Emilian! Also, we got our evaluation kit for our 32-bit AVR UCE microprocessor, we have been fiddling around with that for awhile. Anyways, we have a few more pics to show you guys, enjoy!
Hey everybody! So I know it has been awhile since the last time we have posted anything but we are starting to make some real headway on our project and are getting pretty excited about it. Due to the nature of our project and to the fact that we need to make custom pcbs, it will be a lengthy process to get a final system implementation built. This means we dont have many trys to get it right(at least on the analog side). So by using block parts and rf cables (among other things), we are able to build a mock/barebones system that we can tweak in order to take measurements. The data taken from this will give us a clearer picture of how to design our final implementation so that we can maximize performance. Enjoy the pics!
So some of our stuff has already come in and we just though we would take some pics to show everybody what we are dealing with. So far we have the mixers in the silver sealed off back since they are sensitive to moisture and the ocillators, low pass filter, and power amiplifier are all in the see through plastic bag. The parts are pretty small and will need custom PCB boards which Dom and Seth are already designing now. Enjoy!
