SDP09 Team Goeckel Home

System Specification

Range of Vision:

In order to capture a large variety of land mammals, a range of vision including the ability to see 12 feet up a tree at a distance of 15 feet will allow for the capture of both land animals and smaller species which may climb.

Pan Speed

Given a target moving at 20 mph at a radius of 15 feet, a servo must be capable of 3.24 seconds per revolution (~ .3 revolutions per second, 111°/sec ) in order to keep up. Using this as an upper limit, targets moving at all lower speeds will be within the range of the tracking system.
