May 2007 SDP07 Clearance

Please see Fran Caron on May 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18 to turn in all of your SDP07 materials.
He will be out of town on May 21 and 22. May 23 is the deadline for being cleared.

The final report format is posted: SDPFinalReportTemplate_v04.doc

The senior survey has been posted. The link was emailed to the SDP07 list.

The SDP07 Clearance List has been posted.
The teams in green have turned in all required items to Mr. Caron.
The advisors of these teams are free to post the ECE 416 grades.

Dear SDP07 students:

PDR II will be held on Wednesday and Thursday (07 and 08 March) of next week.

The time has come to sign up for PDR II!

Each team manager should find out when both team and advisor are available for PDR II. The team manger will then complete an on-line survey. He or she will be asked to select three time slots for which both team and advisor are available for PDR II. He or she will rank these three selections from 1 to 3, with 1 being the top choice.

Welcome back SDP07 teams!

We'll have our first all-class meeting on Thursday 01 Feb!
4 PM, Goessman 20

Each team will give a quick update. Please email soules@ecs.umass.edu & hollot@ecs.umass.edu a two-slide powerpoint file. The file name should take the form of sdp07_01feb_advisorname.ppt, and the email subject should be as follows: sdp07_01feb_advisorname, where advisorname is your advisor's last name.

Slide one should include your project name, team names, advisor name and a statement of what has been accomplished to date. Slide two should include a statement about what remains to be completed.

Also, check SPIRE! Make sure you are enrolled in the proper section of ECE 416 (your advisor's section).

The MDR schedule has been posted. Please check it today!

Be prepared to be arrive at your presentation room at least 20 minutes before your scheduled start time.

Professor Wolf's excellent presentation on how to deliver an excellent MDR presentation has been posted.

The MDR check list has also been posted. Use it to verify that you have everything in order for your MDR!

URGENT -

Check the team list ASAP.

If your team's row is green, then the course coordinators (Hollot and Soules) have been sent the approved MDR Specification by the team advisor.

If your team's row is red, then the course coordinators (Hollot and Soules) have not been sent the approved MDR Specification by the team advisor.

Please work with your team advisor to get the final, approved MDR spec to us.

The Preliminary Design Reviews will take place this week (Wed Thu Fri 18-20 Oct)

in Marcus 10-12. Please set up 15 minutes before the hour.

The Faculty Review Board schedule has been posted. Reviewers for Wed 11 AM, Thu 11 AM and Fri 4 PM have not been finalized.


If your name on the SDP07 list has a hyphen next to it, please check your ECE 415 section on SPIRE. If it is not correct, please go to the Office of Student Affairs, 126 Marston to fill out the appropriate paperwork to correct the matter. You will need your advisor's signature.
