About the Department

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department offer accredited undergraduate programs in EE and CSE and has active graduate research programs in communication systems, computer systems, emerging electronics and microwave engineering.  It has over 30 Faculty members and approximately 250 graduate students.

Its microwave engineering program is nationally recognized with an NSF Engineering Research Center for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere (CASA), Center for Advanced Sensor and Communication Antennas (CASCA), and Microwave Remote Sensing Lab (MIRSL).

The two fully ABET-accredited B.S. degrees in Computer Systems Engineering and  Electrical Engineering has an honors option for qualified students.  There are approximately 300 undergraduates.
