ECE 211: Circuit Analysis I

Fall, 2003

HELP SESSION: The ECE 211 FINAL EXAM HELP SESSION will be held 6:30-8:30pm, Monday, ELAB 304.

All my best,

-Prof. Goeckel

The stuff below is (intentionally) incomplete and generally only duplicates items passed out in lecture and recitation. Lecture and recitation will be the official source for course information.

HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS:

In the homework assignments below, there is a font problem with the symbol for "Ohms" (something it shows up as "W", which causes kilo-ohms to look like "kW", sometimes not at all). Be assured that the units for the resistors are in ohms or kilo-ohms. Everything displays properly, of course, in the paper copies on Prof. Preston's door (Marcus 211).

Homework 2 (PDF file)

Starting with Homework 3, the "Ohm Font Problem" will be solved by using the symbol "R" for "Ohms". Thus, if you see a resistor with a label "15R", consider that to be "15 Ohms".

Homework 3 (PDF file)

Homework 4 has two corrections to the original! In the first problem, part (b), the tolerance should be +/- 0.1V. In the second problem, part (b), you should be finding Ra.

Homework 4 (PDF file)

We have added a necessary hint for Problem 2, part (a)!

Homework 6 (PDF file)

Per lecture, the due date for HW 7 has been pushed back until Friday (November 7th).

Teaching Assistant Meenal Bagla will hold her Thursday office hours (4-6pm) in ELAB 307A, where she will assist with any PSpice questions that you may have.
