• First exam is Mars 9, Friday (see schedule page for exact location and time)
  Material required includes everything we covered including syncronization (without the Monitor part), lecture notes & textbook, exam is closed book
  Exam will contain both questions about OS concepts and more deep problems, similar to what we had in the lectures and homeworks
  For the synchronization questions simple code segments may be required; these can be written using either Java, C,C++ style or pseudo Java,C,C++, or pseudo-code.
  Make sure the grader is able to understand your code, the focus is not on coding style/(exact syntax) but on the correct semantics of what you are doing.
  NO CHEATING, READ WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CHEAT HERE!
