Technology Licensing - Commercializing University Research
Ball Center 408

Massachusetts research facilities attract hundreds of millions of dollars each year in government and private funds. These funds generate much of the research regarding many of the papers presented at the R&D Conference. What happens with new discoveries and how can we benefit from them? A panel of leading authorities from four area Research Intensive Universities will demonstrate the connection between research funding, the capacity for technology transfer, and the ability to provide commercial licensing agreements that benefit the university, the licensee, and the economy as a whole.

Panel members will briefly describe their university's unique approach to technology transfer and technology licensing with commercial interests.
