Abstract

In this paper, we present a high-speed wireless local area network (WLAN) architecture based on an adaptively coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) physical layer. The system was designed through a multidisciplinary effort between the communications, protocols, and microwave circuits group at the University of Massachusetts.
