Decoding for Interleaved Coded DPSK Systems Operating over Fading Channels

Abstract

Multiple symbol detection of differential phase-shift keyed (DPSK) signals can greatly improve system performance in non-interleaved communication systems. In this paper, we demonstrate novel low complexity algorithms that show similar gains for interleaved convolutionally-coded DPSK systems operating over fading channels.
