The campus is located just minutes from Amherst center which is filled with restuarants, shops and other attractions. Outdoor actvities are plentiful in the area and possibilities are endless with trails, rivers, and mountains just outside your door.

The Graduate Program

There are many active chapters on campus such as the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and an array of different activities to choose from such as hiking, community service, workshops, and many much more.

Come join UMass ITE for the fall semester! ITE activities are an excellent introduction to the world of transportation engineering in practice. It's fun and rewarding and you might even make a little extra cash. Pizza is served at monthly meetings. So come to our introductory meeting and find out what ITE is all about.
