A National Survey of TOC Trends in Relation to Watershed Characteristics and DBP Formation Potential

	The primary goals of this project involving drinking water treatment will be:
	1.	To establish a national database for DBP precurors and NOM (via TOC as a surrogate) in US raw drinking waters.
	2.	To provide information to water quality managers on watershed management practices that can be beneficial or detrimental  to DBP and BDOM contro.
	3.	To provide a framework for those managers to develop their own watershed models and management strategies.
