Environmental and Water Resources Engineering

Since 1960 over 400 sanitary and environmental engineers have graduated with M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Environmental Engineering Program at the University of Massachusetts. Many of these graduates are employed in industry, consulting firms, government agencies, research institutions, and universities.

As a Program, our highest priority is the education of our students. The Program consists of 30 to 40 students pursuing advanced degrees in environmental engineering. Most of our students are supported through research assistantships, fellowships, and teaching assistantships. Our Program enjoys an excellent national reputation.

These web pages provide extensive information about our graduate Degree Programs, Research, and Program Area faculty. They also contain resources for Enrolled Graduate Students and our brochure on Graduate Study in Environmental Engineering for prospective students.
