This newsletter discusses the MHD and FHWA Snow expo. The workzone RAP
and EPA audits are included. There is an article on the 1st Masters Road
Scholar in Massachusetts along with some new Baystate Roads Scholars.
Compliance dates on the MUTCD are also mentioned.
Summer 2001
The MUTCD Millenium Edition is talked about. There is an article which
talks about the retroflectivity of road signs and markings. There is a
follow up on the MHD and FHWA Snow expo from the winter.

This issue talks about the having to deal with Bridge Maintenance and
how to prevent it, communicating a need for a change, and Ice Tips - how
to defrost it quickly and properly.

An article on the Coolidge Bridge is done in this newsletter. The bridge
is a major concern to the local commuters in Amherst, Hadley and Northampton.

This newsletter discusses topics about using geotextiles in unpaved low
volume roads. It also talks about the new bike and pedestrian info center
that was unveiled with a follow up on the Walk Massachusetts Conference.
It also tells you 10 ways you can save on tire costs.
Spring 2000
This newsletter has articles that discuss the comeback of wooden bridges.
The advantages of using the new technique of Ultra Thin Whitetopping can
be found. Learn how to use a chainsaw properly. Lastly, find more information
on GASB (Governmental Accounting Standards Board).
Winter 2000
This newsletter includes articles about salt being our most common
deicer and how it effects the environment. It has a convenient winter
storm checklist, tips, do's and don'ts. It has suggestions as to what
you should eat during those long snow plowing nights. There are winter
vehicle checklists for those stormy nights on the road. And lastly, you'll
find information about the Snow Plow Rally's and "Roadeos" that
occurred in Plymouth and Concord.
