Conference Hotel

The Marriott Courtyard Tremont Boston Hotel, located at 275 Tremont Street, Boston, Offers limited overnight reservations for $199. For reservations call 1 (617) 426-1400 or 1 (800) 321-2211. Identify UMass/Baystate Roads to receive the discounted hotel rate. Reservations must be made by September 18th.

The hotel is providing a specially discounted valet parking rate of $15 solely for this conference.

Travel

The hotel is wheelchair accessible. Indoor bicycle parking will be provided. The hotel is walking distance from South Station, where MBTA commuter rail and Red Line Services are provided. In addition, many intercity bus services (such as Peter Pan and Greyhound) serve the South Station Intercity Bus Terminal. The hotel is also very close to the Orange Line New England Medical Center stop and the Green Line Boylston Street Stop.

From the MBTA("T"):

  • Orange Line: Use the New England Medical Center Station. Follow signs to the exit closest to the New England Medical Center. Upon reaching street level, you will be on Washington Street, underneath the Floating Hospital for Children. Turn left, and walk approximately 25 feet past the hospital entrance. Take the outside stairway immediately beyond the hospital entrance; this stairway leads you to a pedestrian plaza between the hospital and the Wang Center. Proceed straight through this plaza one block toward Tremont Street. The hotel is directly across street.
  • Green Line: Use the Boylston Street Station. Upon reaching street level, walk along Tremont Street, a major arterial street (in the same direction as traffic) towards Boylston Street, at the end of Boston Common.. You'll see a Dunkin' Donuts shop at the corner of Tremont and Boylston Streets. Cross Boylston Street, then continue another block (passing the Emerson Majestic Theater) to Stuart Street. Cross Stuart Street. The hotel is 1/2 block ahead on the right side of Tremont Street.
  • Red Line: Park Street Station: Upon reaching street level, walk along Tremont Street, a major arterial street (in the same direction as traffic) towards Boylston Street, at the end of Boston Common. Your walk will be slightly downhill. You'll see a Dunkin' Donuts shop at the corner of Tremont and Boylston Streets. Cross Boylston Street, then continue another block (passing the Emerson Majestic Theater) to Stuart Street. Cross Stuart Street. The hotel is 1/2 block ahead on the right side of Tremont Street.

Driving Directions

From the North:

  • Take Route 93 South
  • Take Exit 23 - Purchase Street
  • Purchase Street becomes Surface Artery Way
  • Follow Surface Artery Way to end
  • Take right onto Kneeland Street
  • At fourth light, turn left onto Treemont Street
  • Hotel is 100 yards on your right.

From the South:

  • Take Route 93 North to Exit 20 - South Station/ Downtown
  • Stay in left lane on the exit and make a sharp left onto Frontage Road
  • Follow to second set of lights, proceed forward bearing to the right side of the roadway, following signs to Downtown
  • Turn left onto Kneeland Street and follow 1/4 mile to Tremont Street
  • Turn left onto Tremont Street and follow to the hotel, which will be approximately 100 yards on the right

From the West:

  • Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) East
  • Take Exit 22 - Copley Square (Exit is located inside the tunnel)
  • Follow exit and go straight onto Stuart Street
  • Follow Stuart Street for approximately six sets of lights to Tremont Street
  • Turn right onto Tremont Street and follow to the hotel, which will be approximately 100 yards on the right
