FOMMS 2000:
Foundations of Molecular Modeling and Simulation

Keystone Resort, CO
July 23-28, 2000

This very successful meeting was intended to be the first of a series of triennial conferences on the Foundations of Molecular Modeling and Simulation (FOMMS), with the initial meeting entitled "FOMMS 2000: Applications for Industry." Its formal program included invited speakers, posters, demonstrations, and discussion time. Please write us if you would like more information.

Deadlines were as follows:

  • 15 Nov 1999 -- Submit abstracts for proposed poster
  • 15 Dec 1999 Acceptance of contributed posters>
  • 15 Jan 2000 -- Applications for attendance>
  • 1 Feb 2000 -- FOMMS issues invitations to attend (Registration forms will accompany invitations) Further applications accepted on a first-come, first serve basis.
  • 15 Mar 2000 -- Last day for early registration
  • 21 Apr 2000 -- Manuscript to be submitted to as an e-mail attachment
  • Up to July 24, 2000 -- Meeting registration accepted subject to availability (No on-site registration)
  • Up to July 28, 2000 -- Keystone accepted late room reservations at conference rate, subject to availability (call Keystone, 800-258-0437)
  • In keeping with the informality of the meeting, the dress code for the meeting was business casual.

    The conference was presented by the non-profit educational CACHE Corporation (Computer Aids for Chemical Engineers) and by Area 1a of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers; local arrangements were coordinated by Alliance LLC. The conference's sponsors were:
